Tired of taking snaps
Yesterday was the longest day of the trip it felt like because we had to take our wedding photo's to bring home. However, the whole process was a living nightmare from about noon when lunch was late. We started the morning off eating Bakuteh at a really nice place on the way to the photo's and I thought that would start our day off nicely and it did. Bakuteh is like soup you eat with rice and spicy sauce, loving every breakfast over here as you don't get sweet stuff or eggs. We got to the photo place around 9:30 as planned and like most Asian cultures no one is in a hurry here or likes to follow time. We hung around for a while waiting for everyone to show up to work. We spent most of the day changing outfits and posing in so many directions I can't smile today. Then around 4 o'clock we finally got to eat lunch and back to more posing. I have no photos to add because they wouldn't let us use a camera in the studio. After the last snaps at 8 we got some dinner at another hawker and this time it was dark noodles one of Shuans fave's and it was really good. The service here is humble and all your dishes come in a bowl of scalding hot water. As you might figure need to sterilize everything LOL. The bugs are pretty ruthless and think they can own the house but I smash every mosquito I see, little buggers are fast. Anyway to round out the evening we met up with some of Shuans old friends and that was fun, started drinking coffee and ended some how with one guy mixing scotch with wine... crazy people LOL. Today we will be picking out all the photo's and seeing which ones will go to print for us to bring back. I hope they all turned out well and I am sure they will have some cheesy asian stuff to it, but that makes for the experience and the reason we did them.
